Meet Our Pastors

We can't wait to meet you!

To know our story is to know our combined heart-beat for Austin. You can often find David & Liz hiking Austin’s multiple greenbelts with their dog, Bauer; consuming the spectrum of local cuisine with friends; hosting dinner parties at home; attending live music events; and relaxing anywhere near the water on Lake Austin or Lady Bird Lake. But it’s not just Austin’s culture that beats down deep, it’s also fueled by a God-inspired passion.

We want to see God move across this city of Austin, Texas.
We want to see people from every race, tribe, ethnicity, age, and background come to Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Make a Difference. Seeing these four areas become reality in people’s lives is what fuels our passion.

David and Liz have a long history in ministry and in the business world. For over a decade and a half, they have served the local church in various leadership roles. Liz ran a successful small business in interior design before completing her Masters dual-degree in Professional Counseling and Community Counseling. She answered the call to ministry in 2003 and served a 14+ year ministry career at Austin Oaks Church launching a counseling ministry that grew to a large Christian Counseling center for the community. Today she continues in the for-profit realm of Christian counseling providing supervision for intern counselors.

David’s call to the ministry came when he preached his first sermon at the age of 12. After completing a business degree from Oral Roberts University, his itinerant preaching ministry and missions work grew through trusted relationships in over 25 nations. All the while he grew his career in the nonprofit sector as a development director for one of Austin’s largest youth organizations. David is part of John Maxwell’s leadership team of coaches and speakers. For the past 15 years, David has been anchored at Shoreline Church under Pastor Rob Koke serving in preaching and volunteer team building capacities as a Licensed Minister.

We are planting C3 Austin because we believe people are hungry for life giving environments that are empowering and full of the Spirit of God. Where people feel that they belong and be equipped to live to their fullest potential in Jesus!
